Bethanie Baker

Bethanie Baker joined Willis Johnson Wealth in 2026 as a Senior Client Operations Associate, returning after first beginning her WJW journey as a Wealth Management Intern in 2020. After joining the Client Operations team full-time in 2021 and later transitioning toward Wealth Management, Bethanie ultimately pursued a more operations-focused career path before returning to WJW in 2026 to continue advancing in client operations.

In her role, Bethanie supports client needs from the back office by helping execute holistic planning strategies with account custodians and internal operations teams. She serves as a liaison between people, process, and strategy, overseeing workflows that promote precision, ease, and a smooth client service experience.

Bethanie believes operations and client service bridge the gap between proposing client solutions and carrying them through implementation. She enjoys translating strategies from paper to action and approaches her work with a people-first mindset, strong attention to detail, and a focus on understanding both the client’s needs and the team’s capabilities.

As a Senior Client Operations Associate, Bethanie helps resolve complex operational issues, communicate across departments, document and improve internal processes, and mentor others within the department. She defines success by the quality of the client experience, the efficiency and accuracy of her team’s work, and the ability to resolve complex requests while minimizing added legwork for the client.

Bethanie earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Certificate in Personal Financial Planning from the University of Houston and holds the Series 65 registration. She also spent two and a half years at a hybrid firm, gaining experience with insurance, annuity carriers, and private markets operations. Her part-time work at Shell’s Deer Park manufacturing plant during college helped build her administrative and organizational skills while connecting her to the oil and gas culture central to many WJW clients.

Outside the office, Bethanie enjoys daily walks at Memorial Park, healthy cooking, barre classes, listening to Taylor Swift, Tiny’s chocolate chip cookies, and time with her husband, Caleb, their cat, Prince Leo, and family in Columbus, Ohio. She is also an active donor to the Norwegian Orca Survey. Bethanie is especially proud of building a well-rounded career in financial services while also completing a personal fitness and nutrition transformation.
