Mikelyn Granato is a Financial Planning Analyst at Willis Johnson Wealth, where she supports clients in managing their finances and working toward long-term financial goals. Mikelyn works closely with senior advisors and clients alike, combining analytical insight with strong interpersonal communication to help individuals and families make informed financial decisions.
Mikelyn believes that informed clients make better financial decisions. She is passionate about helping simplify complex financial concepts and presenting strategies in a way that clients can clearly understand and trust. Her approach centers on integrity, proactive communication, and always prioritizing the client’s best interests. By focusing on education and clarity, she strives to help clients feel confident in the financial decisions they make for their future.
Before entering the financial services industry, Mikelyn served as a Nuclear Mechanic in the United States Navy. Her military background strengthened her discipline, resilience, and commitment to service; qualities she continues to bring into her work today. After transitioning from the military, she knew she wanted to continue serving others in a meaningful way through financial planning and client support.
As a Financial Planning Analyst, Mikelyn serves as a bridge between detailed financial analysis and personalized client guidance. She supports senior advisors in developing thoughtful, data-driven recommendations while helping ensure each client experience is tailored to their unique goals and long-term objectives. To Mikelyn, success is built on trust, meaningful relationships, and delivering an experience that leaves clients feeling supported and understood.
Mikelyn earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Southern New Hampshire University and also completed her MBA with a concentration in Accounting. She obtained her Series 7 license in November 2024 and her Series 66 license in January 2025. With experience across financial planning and client service, she brings both technical knowledge and a people-first mindset to her role.
Outside the office, Mikelyn enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She and her husband stay active with their energetic children, often participating in outdoor activities and sports including softball, football, swimming, hiking, volleyball, and pickleball. She is especially passionate about creating meaningful memories with her family and values the relationships and community around her.
Among her proudest accomplishments are becoming a Nuclear Mechanic in the Navy, running a marathon, and most importantly, being a mother. She values experiences that challenge her mentally and personally, and she takes pride in building trust and genuine relationships with those around her.
