Luke Liu

Luke Liu joined Willis Johnson Wealth in Summer 2026 as an Investment Operations Specialist and is a participant in the firm's Wealth Residency Program. As part of the program, he rotates through the firm's core operational functions to develop a comprehensive understanding of how WJW serves its clients. In his current Investment Operations rotation, he works closely with the Investment and Wealth Management teams to support portfolio operations, maintain investment data, and contribute to the firm's reporting processes.

With a strong interest in financial planning and investment management, Luke enjoys learning new aspects of the profession and continuing to build his knowledge and skills. He believes that great advice is only as good as its execution and that precision and diligence behind the scenes help build client confidence. He approaches his work with a strong sense of accountability, believing that accuracy is the foundation of effective operations and that a client-first mindset is essential to building lasting relationships.

Luke earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and International Business from Baylor University before completing a Master of Science in Finance from Southern Methodist University. His graduate studies provided a strong foundation in investment analysis and financial modeling, while his previous experience as a Financial Administrator at Baylor University strengthened his skills in budgeting, procurement, and account reconciliation.

Outside the office, Luke enjoys traveling, running, weightlifting, fishing, golfing, hiking, and trying new recipes in the kitchen. Having moved to the United States on his own at age 14, he values the opportunities that come from embracing new challenges and connecting with others. He is fluent in both English and Mandarin and enjoys spending time with family and friends while exploring new hobbies and experiences.
