Tyler Leal, CFP®, EA, is a Wealth Manager at Willis Johnson & Associates, where he works closely with clients to bring clarity and confidence to their financial lives. He develops personalized financial plans, advises investment strategies, and provides ongoing guidance as clients navigate changing priorities and opportunities.
Tyler believes financial wealth is more than just numbers; it is a tool that enables people to live life on their own terms. Through thoughtful, comprehensive planning, he helps clients create a clear path toward achieving long-term goals and maintaining control over their financial future.
In his role, Tyler leads client relationships and oversees the development and implementation of tailored financial strategies. His approach is transparent, consultative, and rooted in service. He prioritizes open communication so clients can better understand the decisions shaping their financial future, and he takes a holistic view to align each aspect of their financial life.
Tyler defines success by the clarity and confidence his clients gain. When clients feel organized, informed, and empowered to make decisions aligned with their goals, he knows he has done his job well. His work is driven by a service-first mindset, paired with a high level of precision and attention to detail.
Tyler earned his degree in Finance from the University of Houston and holds both the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) designation and the Enrolled Agent (EA) credential.
In addition to his work with clients, Tyler teaches Intro to Personal Finance at the University of Houston. This role enhances his ability to simplify complex financial concepts and bring an educational, approachable perspective to client relationships.
Outside the office, Tyler enjoys spending time with his wife, Lauren, and their children, Raelynn and Lincoln. He stays active through exercise and pickleball, enjoys cheering on the Houston Texans, and spends time working on projects around the house. He also plays guitar whenever he gets the chance.
